2-2/3 cups unbleached flour
Cup of nuts 2 / 3, finely chopped
shredded coconut or finely chopped pistachios for decoration

Sugar syrup:
2-2/3 cup sugar
2-1/3 cups water
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

Preparation method

Preheat oven to 325 ° C. Prepare the syrup first. Boil sugar and water for 10 minutes. Remove the burner and add lemon juice. Bring to a boil and let cool. To prepare the batter, melt the margarine in a saucepan and remove from heat. Add milk, sugar, baking powder and vanilla. Mix well. Mix the semolina. Slowly add the flour and mix well. To enable cookies, oval-shaped pasta 1 tbsp. Make a longitudinal groove and fill it with chopped walnuts. Pinch the dough together around the nuts. Cook in lightly oiled pan for about 30 minutes, or until light brown. Remove cookies from oven and pour the cold syrup on top. When the syrup is absorbed, remove from pan and decorate cookies with coconut and pistachio.
