Sausage & Pepperoni Pizza Puffs
3 / 4 cup flour
1 / 2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 / 4 cup teaspoon baking powder
1 egg, lightly beaten
3 / 4 cup whole milk
4 oz shredded mozzarella cheese (about 1 cup)
4 oz low-fat sausage, cooked and crumbled
2 oz turkey pepperoni mini (about 1 / 2 cup)
Pizza sauce 1 / 2 cup
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 24-cup mini muffin tins.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder and baking powder, whisk milk and eggs. Mix, sausage and peppers, mozzarella cheese, let stand for 10 minutes. Mix the dough and divide it among mini muffin cups.
Bake until puffed and golden, 20-25 minutes. At the same time, micro-wave oven pizza sauce until heated through. Serve with dipping sauce pizza puffs.
