salt and pepper to taste
2 c. soup. butter
4 cups beef broth
1 cup red lentils
2 medium onions
1 tbsp. tomato paste or 2 small tomatoes, chopped

Preparation method

Chop the onion and sauté onion in butter. Wash the lentils and add to soup with salt, pepper tomato tomato paste and diced.
Simmer for about 20 minutes.
Serve with fresh bread.
