    Delicious Caviar Pie – A Heavenly Treat

    The word caviar itself might pull you back since the rare fish eggs are highly priced. But for a very special treat, you can buy caviar in small cans. These tiny black and red pearls are expensive not only because they are extremely rare, but also because they are highly nutritious. Following is an easy recipe to make a delicious dish of caviar pie to make your guests go ‘wow’.

    What you need

    • 3 ounces of red caviar
    • 3 ounces black caviar, rinsed and drained
    • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
    • 6 hard-cooked, finely chopped eggs
    • ¼ cup sour cream
    • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened

    How To Make The Caviar Pie

    Dry out the onion a bit in a refrigerator for about 30 minutes. To do this, spread the onion on a paper towel, set over a plate and then place it in the refrigerator.

    Take a serving plate or a shallow dish and spread the chopped eggs. Once done, refrigerate it.

    Take a small bowl and add the cream cheese and sour cream to it. Stir well to make a fine mixture. Remove the onion and the chopped eggs plate from the refrigerator and sprinkle the onions evenly over the eggs.

    Take the cream mixture and spoon it over the onion layer and carefully spread it.

    You are almost done. Now take the black caviar and red caviar and spread them over the top of the mixture in any pattern using your creativity. You can spread them in a random pattern or cover half of the top with black caviar and the other half with red caviar or even make shapes and lines.

    Cover the plate with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.

    Serve your guests and watch it disappear instantly. Your heavenly caviar dish will be the topic of the day. They might be reluctant at first to try this raw fish egg mixture. But after the first bite, they’ll probably want more and more of it.
