1 cup bulgur, finely ground
1 tablespoon pomegranate juice (or 2 tablespoons lemon juice)
2/3 cup boiling water
Salad greens or boiled grape leaves
1 large onion, finely chopped
Tomato slices

Preparation method

Place the bulgur in a bowl and mix with water, a tablespoon at a time. Cover and let stand for 15 minutes at room temperature. Add the onion to bulgur and mix well. Then add the remaining ingredients, season to taste. Line a plate with salad or boiled grape leaves and garnish with bulgur mixture. Garnish with slices of tomato or cucumber. Serve at room temperature.

Be sure to use bulgur, cracked wheat no.
