Apricot Compote

Ingredients

24 medium dried apricots or 150 g
Sugar 3/4 cup or 180 g
6 cups water 1 1/2 lt

Preparation method

Soak apricots in water overnight. Simmer for 30 minutes Insam liquid in a saucepan. Add sugar. stir slowly until sugar is dissolved. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool. Serve cold in individual bowls or cups.

Pruness raisins and dried apricots can be used. Can be served with almonds or pistachionuts blacnhed.
